Mathura Municipal Corporation is a morgue, they have no concern with the problems of the city. There is no hope from the District Magistrate. It is the misfortune of Mathura and the people of Mathura have also got such a bad Municipal Corporation.”

The high monkey population in residential areas contributes to property damage and incidents of monkey bites. In rural areas, monkeys are blamed for crop and produce loss. Methods used to deter monkeys include scarecrows, langur cutouts (feared by monkeys), and chemical repellents like thimet granules mixed with sand.
