An officer from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, USA, pulled over a spaceship-like vehicle since its license plate was partly covered.
A unique incident was caught on camera in Missouri. An officer from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol pulled over a spaceship-like vehicle because its license plate was partly covered. Interestingly, the vehicle was on its way to a UFO festival in New Mexico. In the viral photo, the officer is seen smiling and taking a selfie with the vehicle owners. Instead of issuing a ticket, the officer kindly gave them a warning. The UFO Festival, their destination, attracts enthusiasts from across the country, offering film screenings and visits to the International UFO Museum and Research Center.
Interestingly, Roswell has become a prominent spot due to the alleged UFO crash, which happened in 1947 and the town now attracts numerous visitors to its annual festival. Meanwhile, sharing the picture on Instagram, the department wrote, “It’s not every day you pull over a UFO. Trooper Ryan Vanvleck 722 pulled over this vehicle on the Turner Turnpike yesterday for an obstructed tag. They were on their way to a UFO festival in Roswell, New Mexico. Trooper Vanvleck let them go with a warning.”
Reacting to the post, a user jokingly asked, “What was the vehicle description over the radio?”
Another referring to the aliens shared, “The agents from Area 51 are on the way as we speak.”
“Way funny. I bet Trooper Vanvleck will tell this story to his grandchildren. Love it,” a comment read.
Another wondered, “Super curious as to what chassis that’s built on. Gotta be pretty reliable for that kind of drive.”
An individual joked, “Outta this world. Super cool car.”
This wasn’t the first time a UFO-shaped vehicle was stopped by police. Before being pulled over on the Turner Turnpike, another officer from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office had already stopped the custom vehicle for lane violations and an expired license plate.
Taking to Facebook, the department wrote, “Well, you never know what will be travelling through Crawford County but this one was a little out of this world. There was a brief conversation about his out of space, correction, out of state registration, but he assured us that he would take care of that issue when he returned to Krypton. He was also warned about our strict enforcement of warp speed on the interstate and to keep his phasers on stun only while travelling.”
According to Fox News, since 1996, UFO fans travel to Roswell, New Mexico, to celebrate the 1947 crash incident. During that time, an Army Air Force balloon, part of a secret project to track Soviet nuclear tests, crashed near the city. Although the government released documents about the project in 1994, the unusual appearance of the debris sparked rumours that it might have been an alien spacecraft.
