Man Wastes Diesel By Overfilling His SUV’s Tank For Reel, Internet Not Impressed

Content creators often run into trouble as a result of their intense desire to become famous on the internet. In a similar incident, a man overfilled his SUV’s diesel tank at a Rajasthan fuel station for a reel video, which provoked an outcry and raised questions about safety. In the clip, the man can be seen at a petrol station overfilling his vehicle’s diesel tank.

As the video proceeds, he then twirls his moustache and raises his hand in victory. The man can be seen hanging out of the moving vehicle’s sunroof as the video continues to play. He can also be seen enjoying a beverage with his friend at the end of the clip.

“Watch the antics of the rich kid to make a reel… wasted diesel, a big accident could have happened, @PoliceRajasthan should take cognisance of the viral video and take strict action,” journalist Nishant Sharma wrote, sharing the video on X. He also tagged Rajasthan Police in his post.

The video, which was shared on July 1, has over 5 lakh views. Several social media users slammed the man for putting his life as well as others in danger.

Meanwhile, Ajmer Police responded to the clip, which went viral, by saying, “Sir, the concerned officer has been informed about the above matter.”

A few hours later, the Ajmer Police provided an update, stating that the vehicle had been confiscated under the Motor Vehicle (MV) Act, the man and the petrol pump staff had been detained, and legal action was being taken.

A user wrote, “Cancel the registration as well as DL pls.”

Another commented, “Action should be taken at petrol pumps too!”

“I also saw this video a few days back. Strong action should be taken for putting life in danger,” a user on X said.

“Sad situation of show off parameters go and feed genuinely poor people and strays give them homes water medicines rather throwing petrol and showing off,” another remarked.
