Starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, Deadpool & Wolverine will release globally this Friday.

Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman gearing up for another Marvel film? With just a few days left before their much-awaited film hits theatres, it seems like the makers are doing their job quite perfectly to give it plenty of attention. Besides new clips, hints and teasers for the feature, the actors’ are also teasing fans with interesting hints. Their latest stunt has a Spider-Man connection. Both Reynolds and Jackman want Tom Holland’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man to be a part of their team.

Getting candid with Marvel Thailand, the actors expressed their wish to team up with another Marvel hero. On being asked to choose one more MCU hero to join the team, Ryan said, “A different MCU hero to join us…Deadpool is part of his storyline, he wants to matter, so badly wants to be an Avenger, a part of the team. And he just can’t quite get there, as Wolverine is everything I wish I was. He’s a legend, he matters, he saves people, and he has done hero stuff, but I have to pick one, I’d love to play with Spider-Man.”

As the actor went on to praise Tom Holland for playing the actor, Hugh joined in and joked, “I agree. He’s so cool. That would be great. And he’s young, we could pile on him and abuse him.” “You can hurt him. You can hit him as hard as you want. He will get right up,” Reynolds added. Hugh Jackman further named Hulk, stating that he wants the Gamma superhero on his side.

The actors’ remarks come at a time when fans believe that Spider-Man might have a part in Deadpool & Wolverine. However, it’s not Tom Holland but the OG Tobey Maguire. The latest trailer features a ‘not-so-important’ scene where Deadpool tries to spew web from his wrists, pointing to the return of the Spidey as it was only Maguire’s version who could naturally shoot web from his wrists.

Whether this means nothing or maybe a real hint, fans will have to wait till the film arrives in theaters.
