The scientific name of the bird is Psidibis papillosa, said Rajneesh Kumar, an officer of the Bokaro forest department, in an interview. After initial treatment, the bird is now being cared for. Once it is healthy, the bird will be released back into its natural habitat, so that it can fly freely and reach its natural environment.
