An Argentinian woman, exacting revenge on her cheating boyfriend, gave away his Copa America tickets and a national football jersey, which carried an autograph by none other than Lionel Messi himself.
Candela Fassino from Buenos Aires, Argentina, instead of just letting go or moving on, decided to hit her boyfriend where it hurt the most ie his love for football after she caught him cheating on her with her best friend, as per What’s The Jam.
In a video, posted on Instagram, Fassino said, “My boyfriend just cheated on me with my best friend and look what I have here. The fool left his Copa America tickets for the next two games and I’m now going to raffle everything.” She further invited people who wanted to win tickets to follow her account. “Oh and I forgot, for all you idiots who think you’re special, never trust a scorned woman,” she added.
The next day, Fassino announced the winner of the Copa America tickets contest on Instagram and not just that, she promised to give away something much more priceless than the tickets in a follow-up video. what’s that? Well, it was an Argentina football jersey autographed by the legendary footballer Lionel Messi. “Who wants this t-shirt?” she asked her followers while holding the t-shirt on camera.
Her followers were quick to respond to the video in the hope of winning the Messi-signed t-shirt. Her Insta post has received 1000 comments until now, also her follower count has increased since she announced the two giveaways on her social media.
However, she has still not announced the winner of the signed jersey.
Fassino also revealed that she first discovered her boyfriend’s infidelity on June 21 during a gathering with friends. She said she saw her boyfriend texting her best friend and when she asked him about their conversation, the guy’s behaviour made her suspicious. “I opened the chat and realised parts of the conversation had been deleted. The last few messages didn’t make any sense and many were sent out of nowhere,” she explained.
Until now, her first video has gathered around 1.9 lakh views, while the second one has got around 50,000 views.
