Louis Vuitton earlier faced scrutiny after launching a new pair of boots designed by Nicolas Ghesquiere. The boots quickly drew attention as their design was compared with an Ostrich due to their unusual look. The product featured black and brown shades with laces covering the bottom. While LV is known for setting fashion trends, these boots sparked debate. Some social media users questioned whether the design was groundbreaking or it was just unappealing.
This isn’t the first time Louis Vuitton has stirred controversy, Nicolas Ghesquiere previously created a product that looked like a sandwich bag. Not just this, the luxury brand has also introduced microscopic bags, latex balloon pants and croissant-shaped bags.
