The Gujarat-based businessman didn’t have time to go to the gym. He even struggled to cover 10,000 steps a day.

A Gujarati businessman named Niraj’s weight-loss journey has left the internet intrigued. Without having to hit the gym or following a fancy diet, the man managed to lose 23 kilograms in 10 months. Satej Gohel, a fitness consultant by profession, has shared the businessman’s awe-spiring story on X (formerly Twitter).

Gohel also shared pictures, documenting the Gujarati businessman’s dedication to fitness. “No gym, No fancy food. A Gujarati businessman eating Gujarati homemade food and home workouts led to this transformation! This is how we were able to achieve Niraj’s transformation,” he wrote.

In the thread, Gohel shared that Niraj is a full-time businessman from Gujarat’s Bhavnagar who, with a hectic schedule throughout the day, even struggled to cover 10,000 steps. However, after a few weeks, walking became a regular part of his routine along with a basic home-based workout with dumbbells. “He had no workout history and was hesitant to start working out at the gym, so we began with home-based workouts using a pair of dumbbells,” he added.

The post further shows how he weighed 91.9 kg initially and ended up with 68.7 kg after 10 months. Besides regular walking, his diet included simple items like paneer, soya chunks, whey, and dal. “This transformation was a complete team effort, and our weekly check-in calls kept him motivated and on track. Niraj is in the maintenance phase, enjoying his favourite foods and staying on top of his workouts and activities. This is his new way of life,” he concluded.

The post shared a few days ago has garnered a lot of attention on the internet, amassing over 4,00,000 views.

A user wrote, “No nutritionist No Workout Guru No non-veg, just brisk walking, cycling and daily 900-1000kcal burning and most importantly NO DIETING…”

Another commented, “While doing gym, we gain strength as well .. but walking and running is also good .. both are equally good.”

“Portion control and self-control are the key! I’m glad you were able to exercise both,” a comment read.

Isn’t his story inspiring?
